Antonia Forest

Antonia Forest (1915 - 2003) was the author of thirteen children's books, most of which belong to the much-acclaimed series featuring the Marlow family. She has a loyal world-wide following who were much saddened by her death in November 2003.

Antonia Forest's first book (Autumn Term, 1948) introduces the Marlow children and Kingscote School, one of fiction's more realistic boarding schools. Subsequent novels follow the family both during term-time at school and at home over the holidays. She also wrote two historical stories which connect slightly with the present-day Marlow series, and one unconnected novel.

This site contains a biography of the author, a detailed bibliography and information about obtaining the books, and aims to provide fans, collectors and researchers with interesting articles about Antonia Forest and her novels.
